The zoological garden in Münster was opened in 1875 and converted into an all-weather zoo around 100 years later. 365 days a year, the approximately 5 km of paths, of which around 1 km is covered, make it possible to visit the zoo in all weathers. In addition to the great variety of species and animal discoveries, there is plenty of entertainment - especially for the little ones.

City harbor

just 900m

Münster's city harbor has been developing into a modern meeting place for everyone for many years. In addition to numerous restaurants and cafés, the harbor feeling with a view of the Dortmund-Ems Canal is particularly appealing. While the harbor tends to be a quiet meeting place in winter, in summer there is even a paved beach where a variety of music events take place.

Hülshoff Castle

The moated castle Hülshoff is located in the middle of a green park landscape in Havixbeck in the west of Münster. The birthplace of the poet Annette von Droste-Hülshoff was mentioned in documents as early as the 11th century and is considered a typical Münsterland moated castle made of Baumberg sandstone.
In addition to the grounds and the exterior view of the building, it is now also possible to visit the castle's rooms. Gastronomy in the castle cellar and in the courtyard in summer round off the exploration experience.
